Overview

As a Forward Usability Technician, you will focus on evaluating and improving product usability across digital and physical interfaces. You will lead the effort to define user experience standards, create testing protocols, gain alignment across product teams, and support the business in developing intuitive interactions for consumers across various touchpoints. Details

Driving Value Creation — Drive usability solutions for Product Design and Digital Experience initiatives through the delivery of actionable, high-quality testing outcomes and experience specifications through effective team collaboration and alignment.

Network and Technology Support - Support our product portfolio through innovative thinking skills to provide usability solutions and troubleshooting for interaction challenges. Lead the discovery, evaluation, and advancement of user testing methodologies and new technologies. Leverage technical skills to improve consumer experiences and deliver business results.

Leading with a User Focus - Demonstrate technical and business leadership within cross-functional teams while supporting the company philosophy and direction. Engage with internal customers, Global UX Leaders, and Subject Matter Experts in the evaluation to provide the best usability solutions to meet customer and consumer needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human-computer interaction, cognitive psychology, or related field with 5 years of usability testing experience.

  • Promote good user-centered design practices and intuitive interaction patterns.

  • Capable of conducting usability studies, accessibility evaluations, and interaction analyses based on consumer behavior and design principles.

  • Understand human factors and cognitive processing patterns.

  • Execute user experience projects with other technical disciplines effectively to accomplish objectives despite demanding schedules.

  • Create working relationships with Digital Product, Marketing, R&D, Packaging, and Consumer Insights teams.

  • Demonstrate effective communication skills to convey complex and detailed information to a wide range of individuals and audiences with different knowledge levels.

Salary and benefits

The annual salary range is $92,000 - $124,000, which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
