As a Manufacturing Operations Manager, you will focus on optimizing production efficiency and quality. You will lead the effort to improve manufacturing processes, create implementation plans, gain alignment across shifts, and support the plant in producing a wide range of snack products such as Pringles, Cheez-it & Club Cracker with consistent quality and cost targets. Driving Value Creation — Drive operational solutions for Production and Cost initiatives through the delivery of efficient, high-quality manufacturing processes and waste reduction programs through effective team collaboration and alignment.
Network and Technology Support - Support our production network through innovative thinking skills to provide operational solutions and troubleshooting for production challenges. Lead the discovery, evaluation, and advancement of manufacturing methods and new technologies. Leverage technical skills to improve efficiency metrics and deliver business results.
Leading with a Team Focus - Demonstrate operational and business leadership within cross-functional teams while supporting the company philosophy and direction. Engage with production associates, Technical Services, and Subject Matter Experts in the evaluation to provide the best manufacturing solutions to meet business and workforce needs.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, or related field with 7 years of manufacturing experience.
Promote good manufacturing practices and efficient production design.
Capable of managing production schedules, resource allocation, and continuous improvement initiatives based on production targets and efficiency goals.
Understand food safety requirements and operational risk management.
Execute operational improvement projects with other technical disciplines effectively to accomplish objectives despite demanding schedules.
Create working relationships with Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Human Resources, and Safety teams.
Demonstrate effective leadership skills to develop, motivate and direct a diverse team of manufacturing professionals.
Salary and benefits
The annual salary range is $110,000 - $140,000, which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
